Attorney Brief

Mr. Peuler, a New Orleans native, represents a diverse group of clients with a heavy emphasis in maritime law and complex litigation.  A representative list of his clients include offshore service contractors, inland marine transportation companies, shipbuilders, oil and gas companies, domestic and foreign insurance companies, construction and trucking companies, governmental entities, local corporations and individuals.

His practice primarily focuses on litigation involving admiralty and maritime, insurance coverage and defense, property and general casualty, energy, mass tort / class actions, toxic tort and automobile liability.  He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana and litigates cases across South Louisiana from New Orleans to Lake Charles.  He also has litigated in Texas, Kentucky and California.

Mr. Peuler served as President and legal advisor for the Port of New Orleans Mariners Club in 2014.  He is a member of the Port of Houston Mariners Club, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Louisiana State and American Bar Associations and the Federal Bar Association, 5th Circuit.  He also serves as a panelist for various events on behalf of the Professionalism Committee for the Louisiana State Bar Association.
